What is a shower, without a, well, shower? The rain couldn't scare these ladies away from celebrating the arrival of a sweet baby, and a tent from Sweet Water was just the way to keep everyone dry and partying on a beautiful spring afternoon. You might remember this beautiful mommy from many of Sweet Water's promotional materials. When she and her wonderful husband agreed to be our models, Candice and I just couldn't have been happier. Except for when they announced the arrival of the newest member to their family. We can't wait to meet you Baby Ames! You are very lucky indeed!

Well, what's the only thing worse than not posting a blog in so long that you don't even remember your password? Maybe it's finally logging in to realize that there hasn't been a single blessed post since before Christmas. Sigh. However, we are shaking off the cobwebs and opening our doors to let a little warm air in. And to celebrate, we will be having a spring open house with some very special deals.

As many of you know, we share a space with Amberlee Christey and Jason Savage with Bella Fiore. So, of course they will be here, and lovely as always. You might also run into the very talented Emily Whipple from "I Do" Events and our very own Pat Halpin with Game Time Tailgating. The great thing about Pat is that he's our lead manager from Sweet Water, but he also owns a phenomenal tailgating trailer with a huge tv inside, a place to put a keg of your oh-so-favorite bubbly beverage, and even a restroom. Our goal is to get a few drinks in him and see if we can find an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, since it has a satellite connection. :)

So come visit us, enjoy a glass of wine from local winery Vu De Ja, and see what kind of deals and steals we will be promoting. Thursday May 3rd from 3-8pm (if we feel like closing it down then!) at 955 Canyon Road Morgantown.

After Hours Christmas Event//Morgantown Event Rentals/Floral/Photography

It's almost Christmas, and sometimes that means that the stresses of planning a major event on top of the obligations and pleasures of the holidays can be a little much. Well, as busy as we are too, Candice and I still think that there can always be a way to check a few things off your list, save some money (and give something back), as well as drink a glass of wine-all in one place!

Come join us Thursday December 15th from 5-8pm at our warehouse, 955 Canyon Road, for some holiday specials, tall glasses of bubbly, and charitable giving to the Ronald McDonald House. A portion of the business that we book Thursday evening will be donated to RMHC, to support the wonderful work that they do for families of hospitalized children. Some of the specials, available with a signed contract and a paid deposit, will include:

Our floral guru Jason Savage with Bella Fiore will be there as well, and providing a complimentary bridal bouquet to anyone who signs and contract and pays a deposit with Bella Fiore. Of course, a party isn't a party without Amberlee Christey Photography, who will joining us and capturing all the fun.

A Mountaineer Wedding

After a disappointing loss Friday night, Mountaineers were feeling a bit down in the dumps last weekend. Well, for this Mountaineer and a few others, things turned around nicely Saturday afternoon.  With a clear blue sky and weather so warm we didn't even need the tent heater that we had on standby, Jennifer and James said their vows in front of friends, family and fellow alumni. Directly after, guests simply walked through the gate and into the reception directly inside at Touchdown Terrace, overlooking Mountaineer Field. What a way to spend a fall weekend! The beautiful florals were provided by Blooms, and absolutely made the ceremony even more stunning. Congratulations Jennifer and James-we wish you the best.
