A June West Virginia Wedding Like None Other//Pete Dye Golf Course

As promised my pretties, here it is. The wedding of Sarah and Ryan is truly something worth waiting for. Sarah was as sweet to work with as her wedding was stunning. The event was comprised of three separate tents. The largest (a 40x120 foot tent) for food and seating, the second for a dance floor and band staging, and the third to serve as a bar area. After a beautiful ceremony, guests were whisked in to a cocktail hour on the deck of the former clubhouse over looking the greens. Tables flanked by chiavari chairs and an oh-so-sweet drink station kept the guests satiated until the real fun could be unveiled. The main tent was comprised of tables covered in navy pintucked linens, stunning floral arrangements of orchids and orange calla lillies by Blooms, and personal touches that included hand made place cards and a seating chart made from an antique quilting rack. The couple also brought in Class Act, a funk and Mo-Town band, all the way from Virginia Beach. But can I do it justice? It was beautiful, classic, fun, and had just a touch of a military inspired edge to it. Congratulations Sarah and Ryan, on a beautiful wedding and a beautiful life together!

West Virginia Wedding Rehearsal//Event Rentals

Well, for those of you who have noticed that we have been somewhat absent in our blogging for the last few weeks, it is because we are recovering from events such as the two part series that I am posting here. Events that bring new meaning to the celebration of love and marriage. Miss Sarah and I have been working together since before Christmas (Watch and learn, ladies-This girl was dedicated!) to fulfill her wedding vision that was to take place at the Pete Dye Golf Course and include 300 family members and friends. We developed a plan that was to include three tents, extensive seating, staging, creative lighting and a big, beautiful dance floor to celebrate the occasion upon. However, before all great weddings come great rehearsal dinners, and this was no exception. Meeting with all of these ladies was truly an adventure, and we loved to see what they had in mind each time that we talked. The rehearsal dinner was held at the childhood home of the groom and was truly a lesson in genuine creativity and celebration.

And yes, believe what you see. The above image is truly a hand stamped monogram for the bride and groom. On each cocktail napkin. It was too much. Well, it was too much until we got to see the finished product of the wedding reception. But for that, you all will have to check back in on Thursday!

Much love and happy planning,

Bridal Shower Inspiration//Bridgeport, WV Event Rentals

The months of May and June were quite the whirlwind on the Sweet Water side of Morgantown. And now, we are  thrilled to finally be able to show off some of these beautiful events. These were a few from a beautiful little bridal shower at the Maple Lake Country Club in Bridgeport, WV. Using our white resin chairs, this beautiful bride and her talented bridesmaids created a garden tea party feel with the sweetest details. Between the stunning arrangements in tea pots (copper, no less-oh it was perfect!) and the adorable favors of golden honey trimmed with notes of "How Sweet of You to Join Us", these girls perfected every detail. What a beautiful event for a beautiful afternoon!
