Planning Your Next Event//Morgantown Event Rentals

So perhaps you are planning your next event, be it a wedding, a graduation celebration or even a baby or bridal shower. You have your invitation list planned, and can see the event in your mind. But will everyone really fit in the tent that you've selected, or the pavilion that you are filling with chairs and tables? When you come to Sweet Water to rent your items, we can easily supply you with a CAD drawing that is a representation of how your event will look, all done to scale. So, we can show you how to fit one or two more tables in, or if a larger dance floor can be accommodated. But we can also show you how that might affect the comfort of your guests, and even the distance between the chairs.

The drawing at left is a 20x30 frame tent that allows for 64 people to be seated at 60 inch round tables. This is the maximum that could be seated under this tent while using the round tables.

The second drawing shows the same 20x30 tent with seating for 72.  This enables visualization of how the event will truly look, or even how to change the arrangement of the tables to maximize seating before your order is even delivered.

Sweet Water wants to make sure that the items that we recommend for your event are what you envision, as well as what would suit the situation best. Happy planning!

Clear you Calendars... Sweet Water Open House May 6th

Think back to after you completed that first year of college.  Congratulations, you survived on dorm food and ramen noodles for one year straight!  There is no better feeling than shedding that dorm room and moving into your first apartment/house. These are exactly the emotions we are experiencing at Sweet Water Event Rentals as we move from our High Street studio to our new location.  Every few days we stop by to check out the progress of our new warehouse, office and SHOWROOM.  We are completely giddy over our move and cannot wait to share it with you.  Please clear your calendars and head out to our open house on May 6th from 3-8pm at 955 Canyon Rd.  If you need directions please email us at info@sweetwaterwv.com.  You know we love to have a good time so head out and lets enjoy an afternoon of wine, music and a few of our favorite vendors (Amberlee Christey, Bella Fiore and Elite Bridal) to name a few.

West Virginia and Morgantown Tent Rentals

So who remembers Father of the Bride? Better yet, who absolutely loves Father of the Bride? We certainly do, thus we were thrilled to be contacted by a bride from Charleston who wants to create a wedding in her parents backyard based on the concept of this oh-so-famous movie. We went down to take a look at the site this weekend, and are developing a plan to make it work for her numerous guests. Because the backyard, while stunning and lined with 12 foot hedges, has no large space for even a 40x80 tent, we have suggested a system of high peak tents that are smaller but can be linked together to create a variety of shapes that conform to the shape of the yard. By tucking a 40 foot wide hexagon shaped tent into the corner of the yard, and building off of it with 20 and 15 foot wide square tents to accommodate bar and foot stations, as well as indoor seating within the home, she can have her reception in the home in which she grew up, the wedding that she's always imagined, and still invite those most important to them. Check out a few images that use these tents to create a one of a kind event.

Or even place a few more together...

Happy Planning!
